Ahmedabad Journalist Attacked Over Society Redevelopment Dispute

A senior crime reporter with Sandesh, Deepak Masla, has accused members of Naranpura housing society of assault and threats. The incident occurred during a meeting in Memnagar to discuss a redevelopment tender awarded to Florentina Realty LLP. Masla alleged that society president Akshay Patel, secretary Jayesh Shukla, and member Kunal Patel blamed him for objections to the plan, abused him, and threatened him with false cases. A woman also reportedly slapped him. Police registered a complaint 24 days later after Masla approached the city police commissioner.

सैंडेश के एक वरिष्ठ क्राइम रिपोर्टर दीपक मसला ने नारणपुरा हाउसिंग सोसायटी के सदस्यों पर मारपीट और धमकी देने का आरोप लगाया है। यह घटना मेमनगर में फ्लोरेन्टिना रियलिटी एलएलपी को दिए गए रीडेवलपमेंट टेंडर पर चर्चा के लिए हुई एक बैठक के दौरान हुई। मसला ने आरोप लगाया कि सोसायटी के अध्यक्ष अक्षय पटेल, सचिव जयेश शुक्ला और सदस्य कुणाल पटेल ने उन्हें योजना पर आपत्तियों के लिए दोषी ठहराया, उन्हें गाली दी और झूठे मामलों में फंसाने की धमकी दी। एक महिला ने कथित तौर पर उन्हें थप्पड़ भी मारा। शहर पुलिस आयुक्त से संपर्क करने के 24 दिन बाद पुलिस ने शिकायत दर्ज की।
