पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्य सचिव मनोज अग्रवाल ने निवेशकों से कहा है कि वे या तो अपनी आवंटित जमीन का इस्तेमाल करें या फिर उसे नए प्रोजेक्ट्स के लिए सरेंडर कर दें। उन्होंने कहा कि जमीन की मांग बढ़ रही है। कैबिनेट के फैसले के मुताबिक, ऐसी जमीन वापस ली जाएगी जहाँ कोई प्रोजेक्ट या फंडिंग नहीं है। इस जमीन को औद्योगिकीकरण और अन्य फायदेमंद प्रोजेक्ट्स के लिए उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। राज्य सरकार का लक्ष्य औद्योगिक विकास को बढ़ावा देना और अधिक निवेश आकर्षित करना है। यह पहल राज्य के औद्योगिक परिदृश्य को बेहतर बनाने के व्यापक प्रयासों का हिस्सा है।
