Beijing Bans Drone Possession From November 15

Beijing authorities have announced a ban on possessing or storing drones and their components within the city, effective November 15. This measure tightens existing security regulations, which previously included banning unauthorized flights and requiring real-name registration for drone owners. Existing owners can sell or scrap their drones with subsidies, or move them outside the city before the deadline. The crackdown follows a fatal aircraft accident in Beijing in June.

बीजिंग में 15 नवंबर से ड्रोन रखने या स्टोर करने पर पाबंदी लगा दी गई है। यह नियम शहर में सुरक्षा को और कड़ा करता है। पहले से ही बिना इजाज़त ड्रोन उड़ाने और मालिकों के नाम दर्ज कराने पर रोक थी। पुराने मालिक सब्सिडी लेकर अपने ड्रोन बेच सकते हैं या उन्हें शहर के बाहर ले जा सकते हैं। जून में बीजिंग में हुए एक विमान हादसे के बाद यह कदम उठाया गया है।
