Centre's Rs 1.86 Lakh Crore PM Dhara Scheme to Boost Renewable Energy Infrastructure

The Indian government has unveiled the PM DHARA scheme, the third phase of the Green Energy Corridor programme, with an outlay of Rs 1.86 lakh crore. This initiative aims to evacuate 135 GW of renewable power and deploy 50 GWh of battery storage systems. The scheme, spanning from 2027 to 2036, will support the target of 900 GW non-fossil capacity by 2035. भारत सरकार ने ग्रीन एनर्जी कॉरिडोर प्रोग्राम के तीसरे चरण, पीएम धारा योजना का अनावरण किया है, जिसमें ₹1.86 लाख करोड़ का आवंटन किया गया है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य 135 GW नवीकरणीय बिजली को बाहर निकालना और 50 GWh बैटरी स्टोरेज सिस्टम तैनात करना है। 2027 से 2036 तक चलने वाली यह योजना 2035 तक 900 GW गैर-जीवाश्म क्षमता के लक्ष्य का समर्थन करेगी। नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा, बिजली पारेषण और पूंजीगत सामान क्षेत्रों की कंपनियों से इस दीर्घकालिक इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर विकास योजना से महत्वपूर्ण लाभ होने की उम्मीद है।
