The court stressed balancing environmental concerns with public feelings, stating it would neither allow a total ban nor unrestricted 24-hour use. Expert bodies have been given until October 15 to assess the impact of barium in other green crackers on air quality. These new crackers must meet specific conditions, including noise levels below 125 decibels and no barium content, to qualify for use.
