Rs 20 Lakh Paid for Non-Existent Cowshed; FIR Against Six

EOW ने मध्य प्रदेश के रीवा जिले में एक गौशाला के निर्माण में कथित धोखाधड़ी के लिए इंजीनियरों और एक ठेकेदार सहित छह लोगों के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज की है। MGNREGA के तहत 37.85 लाख रुपये में स्वीकृत इस परियोजना में 20.22 लाख रुपये का भुगतान किया गया, लेकिन कोई पशु शेड, बोरवेल या पानी की टंकी नहीं बनाई गई। जांचकर्ताओं ने पाया कि अधिकारियों ने एक आपूर्तिकर्ता को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए निविदाओं को दरकिनार कर दिया, जिससे अधूरा निर्माण और आवश्यक सुविधाओं का अभाव हुआ। आरोपियों पर आपराधिक विश्वासघात, धोखाधड़ी, जालसाजी और भ्रष्टाचार सहित आरोप लगाए गए हैं।
