Vegetable Vendor Found Dead After Alleged Dussehra Assault Over Onion Prices

A 35-year-old vegetable vendor, Atmaram, was discovered dead in his home in Gurgaon's Jamalpur village on Wednesday. He was allegedly assaulted the previous day during a dispute over onion prices in Kasan village on Dussehra. Atmaram reportedly sustained head and leg injuries but returned home and went to bed without informing his family. His family found him unresponsive on Wednesday morning and alerted the police. Authorities are awaiting the postmortem report to confirm the cause of death and are investigating the circumstances of the alleged assault.

गुरुग्राम के जमालपुर गांव में बुधवार को 35 वर्षीय सब्जी विक्रेता आत्मराम का शव उसके घर में मिला। पिछले दिन दशहरा पर कासन गांव में प्याज की कीमतों को लेकर हुए विवाद के दौरान कथित तौर पर उस पर हमला किया गया था। आत्मराम को कथित तौर पर सिर और पैर में चोटें आई थीं, लेकिन वह घर लौट आया और बिना परिवार को बताए सो गया। बुधवार की सुबह उसके परिवार ने उसे बेसुध पाया और पुलिस को सूचित किया। मौत का कारण जानने के लिए अधिकारी पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट का इंतजार कर रहे हैं और कथित हमले की परिस्थितियों की जांच कर रहे हैं।
