Indian Equestrian Team Disqualified From Asian Games Eventing

The Indian equestrian team has been disqualified from the eventing competition at the Asian Games 2026. Rider Arjan Nagra and his horse Cooley Goodwood were disqualified after the horse refused to attempt two obstacles in the jumping event. This left the team with only two eligible riders, resulting in their collective disqualification. Another horse tested positive for tick fever, and a third horse's blood work was incomplete, preventing travel.

एशियाई खेल 2026 में भारतीय घुड़सवारी टीम को इवेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता से अयोग्य घोषित कर दिया गया है। घुड़सवार अर्जन नागरा और उनके घोड़े कूली गुडवुड को कूदने वाले इवेंट में दो बाधाओं को पार करने में घोड़े के असफल रहने पर अयोग्य ठहराया गया। इससे टीम में केवल दो योग्य सवार बचे, जिसके कारण पूरी टीम को बाहर कर दिया गया। एक अन्य घोड़े में टिक फीवर पाया गया, और तीसरे घोड़े के ब्लड वर्क अधूरे होने के कारण यात्रा नहीं कर सका।
