Uttar Pradesh Cop Demands Cows, Dog, Furniture for Case Quashing

A sub-inspector with the Uttar Pradesh STF in Prayagraj has been accused of demanding a bribe in an unusual form. The officer allegedly asked for two cows, a German Shepherd dog, furniture, and online money in exchange for removing a name from a criminal case filed in Nawabganj police station. The Haryana State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a case against the sub-inspector after preliminary investigation found the allegations to be true based on audio recordings and screenshots.
