Nimrat Kaur Recalls Father's Kidnapping and Killing by Terrorists in Kashmir

Actress Nimrat Kaur has shared the traumatic childhood experience of losing her father, Major Bhupender Singh, at age 11. The Indian Army officer was abducted and killed by terrorists in Kashmir in January 1994 while returning from an official assignment. His captors made demands, including the release of other prisoners, over seven days. Nimrat recalled seeing her father leave for work and then only seeing him again in a coffin, highlighting the lack of closure.
