UP Man Kills Girlfriend After Learning Of Her Marriage Plans

A man in Meerut allegedly strangled his girlfriend to death after becoming enraged upon learning her marriage was being arranged with someone else. The accused, Firoz, reportedly confessed to the crime after dumping the victim, Samreen's, body in a jungle near the Bijli Bamba bypass. He then called the police helpline himself to report the murder and surrender. Samreen worked at a call center and was on her way to work when she met Firoz. Police have taken Firoz into custody and begun further legal proceedings.

मेरठ में एक युवक ने अपनी प्रेमिका की गला घोंटकर कथित तौर पर हत्या कर दी, जब उसे पता चला कि उसकी शादी किसी और से तय हो रही थी। आरोपी, फ़िरोज़, ने कथित तौर पर बिज़ली बम्बा बाईपास के पास एक जंगल में पीड़िता, सरीन, के शव को फेंकने के बाद अपना जुर्म कबूल कर लिया। उसने खुद पुलिस हेल्पलाइन को फोन करके हत्या की सूचना दी और आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया। सरीन एक कॉल सेंटर में काम करती थी और फ़िरोज़ से मिलने तब गई जब वह काम पर जा रही थी। पुलिस ने फ़िरोज़ को हिरासत में ले लिया है और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।
