जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया में हुई ऐसी ही घटना के बाद जेएनयू कैंपस की दीवारों पर राजनीतिक ग्राफिटी मिलने से विवाद खड़ा हो गया है। जेएनयू की दीवारों पर 'उमर खालिद को आज़ाद करो' और 'नक्सलबाड़ी ज़िंदाबाद' जैसे नारे लिखे मिले, जिस पर एबीवीपी ने आपत्ति जताई है। एबीवीपी ने विश्वविद्यालय के शैक्षणिक माहौल को बिगाड़ने का हवाला देते हुए जिम्मेदार लोगों की पहचान और उन पर मुकदमा चलाने की मांग की है। जेएनयू प्रशासन ने इस मुद्दे को स्वीकार कर लिया है और मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
