Tirupati Receives Showers Ahead of Garuda Seva

Thousands of devotees have gathered in Tirupati for the annual Salakatla Brahmotsavams, with the 'Garuda Seva' scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026. A sudden downpour on Friday evening brought much-needed relief from the heat, cooling the city. The rain drenched pilgrims arriving at the railway and bus stations. Fortunately, the hill town of Tirumala did not experience rain, ensuring no disruption to the temple processions. The celestial spectacle is expected to draw large crowds.

तिरुपति में सालाना सलाकटला ब्रह्माेत्सवम के लिए हज़ारों श्रद्धालु जमा हुए हैं। 19 सितंबर 2026, शनिवार को 'गरुड़ सेवा' होनी है। शुक्रवार शाम को अचानक हुई बारिश ने गर्मी से राहत दी और शहर को ठंडा कर दिया। बारिश ने रेलवे और बस स्टेशनों पर पहुंचे यात्रियों को भी भिगो दिया। गनीमत रही कि तिरुमाला पहाड़ी पर बारिश नहीं हुई, जिससे मंदिर की शोभायात्राओं में कोई बाधा नहीं आई। इस बार भी भारी भीड़ की उम्मीद है।
