TV9 Hindi · sports

During the Asian Games bronze medal cricket match, Indian umpire Nitin Menon made a significant error by giving Sri Lankan batsman Nuwanidu Fernando out. The ball had not touched the bat, nor was it close, yet Menon ruled it an out. This unfortunate incident occurred during the fourth over of Sri Lanka's innings. The absence of DRS in the Asian Games meant the incorrect decision could not be reviewed. Sri Lanka went on to win the bronze medal match against Bangladesh.
