EU Envoys Fail To Agree On Russia Sanctions

EU ambassadors could not reach an agreement on extending sanctions against Russia during their Monday meeting, as the current restrictions are set to expire on Tuesday. Discussions are ongoing, with a follow-up meeting scheduled for later the same day. Slovakia has requested the removal of businessmen Mikhail Fridman and Alisher Usmanov from the blacklist, while France proposed removing only Usmanov.

यूरोपीय संघ के राजदूत सोमवार को रूस के खिलाफ प्रतिबंधों को बढ़ाने पर कोई समझौता नहीं कर पाए। ये प्रतिबंध मंगलवार को खत्म हो रहे हैं। बातचीत जारी है और उसी दिन बाद में एक और बैठक होगी। स्लोवाकिया ने मिखाइल फरीदमन और अलिशेर उस्मानोव को ब्लैकलिस्ट से हटाने की मांग की है, जबकि फ्रांस सिर्फ उस्मानोव को हटाने का प्रस्ताव दे रहा है।
