Students Refuse Mid-Day Meal After Worm Found

Dozens of students at a government school in Kushinagar district refused to eat their mid-day meal on Monday after allegedly finding a worm in the vegetable served. The incident led to the basic shiksha adhikari (BSA) ordering a probe. A three-member committee has been formed to investigate the complaint and will submit its report within three days. The village head ate the meal with students to restore confidence.

कुशीनगर जिले के एक सरकारी स्कूल में सोमवार को छात्रों ने सब्जी में कीड़ा मिलने का आरोप लगाकर मिड-डे मील खाने से मना कर दिया। इस घटना के बाद बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी (BSA) ने जांच के आदेश दिए हैं। तीन सदस्यों की एक कमेटी बनाई गई है जो तीन दिन में अपनी रिपोर्ट देगी। गांव के प्रधान ने छात्रों का भरोसा जीतने के लिए उनके साथ खाना खाया।
