Pune RTO Inspects 134 Out-of-State Vehicles, Finds 37 Violations

Pune RTO officials inspected 134 private vehicles registered outside Maharashtra, identifying 37 violations. Three vehicles were detained, and ₹21,000 in penalties were collected during the special drive. This initiative, running from October 5 to 17, aims to enforce re-registration, tax, and other regulatory compliance for vehicles used regularly in Maharashtra. Regional Transport Officer Archana Gaikwad urged vehicle owners to update their documents and comply with motor vehicle laws, especially those applicable to vehicles kept in the state for over 12 months.

पुणे आरटीओ अधिकारियों ने महाराष्ट्र के बाहर पंजीकृत 134 निजी वाहनों का निरीक्षण किया और 37 उल्लंघनों का पता लगाया। तीन वाहनों को जब्त किया गया और विशेष अभियान के दौरान ₹21,000 का जुर्माना वसूला गया। 5 से 17 अक्टूबर तक चलने वाली इस पहल का उद्देश्य महाराष्ट्र में नियमित रूप से उपयोग किए जाने वाले वाहनों के लिए पुन: पंजीकरण, कर और अन्य नियामक अनुपालन को लागू करना है। क्षेत्रीय परिवहन अधिकारी अर्चना गायकवाड़ ने वाहन मालिकों से अपने दस्तावेज अपडेट करने और मोटर वाहन कानूनों का पालन करने का आग्रह किया, खासकर उन वाहनों के लिए जो 12 महीने से अधिक समय से राज्य में रखे गए हैं।
