प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भुवनेश्वर, ओडिशा में 169 करोड़ रुपये के आरबीआई डेटा सेंटर और साइबर सुरक्षा प्रशिक्षण संस्थान का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने भारत की बैंकिंग प्रणाली को साइबर खतरों से बचाने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया, यह कहते हुए कि युद्ध अब अर्थव्यवस्थाओं को निशाना बनाकर लड़े जाते हैं। मोदी ने 2014 के बाद से बैंकिंग क्षेत्र में हुए परिवर्तन पर भी प्रकाश डाला, जिससे गरीबों और वंचितों के लिए सेवाएं सुलभ हो गईं। उन्होंने कहा कि अगले दशक में सभी नागरिकों के लिए बैंकिंग सेवाओं को अधिक कुशल और विश्वसनीय बनाने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा।
