This significant hike will allow the Delhi government to borrow up to ₹1,145 crore for infrastructure development, compared to the previous limit of ₹381 crore. केंद्र सरकार ने दिल्ली के लिए ब्याज-मुक्त पूंजीगत व्यय (capex) लोन में लगभग 200% की बढ़ोतरी को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस बड़ी वृद्धि से दिल्ली सरकार अब ₹381 करोड़ की पिछली सीमा के मुकाबले इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलपमेंट के लिए ₹1,145 करोड़ तक उधार ले सकेगी। इस बढ़ी हुई वित्तीय सहायता से शहर की विकास परियोजनाओं को बढ़ावा मिलने और सार्वजनिक सुविधाओं में सुधार होने की उम्मीद है।
