Rain Havoc: Red Alert in Uttarakhand, Flood Threat

Heavy rainfall has intensified across several Indian states, including Uttarakhand, Bihar, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh, raising concerns of floods and landslides. A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal is causing these weather changes, moving northwestward and expected to weaken over Madhya Pradesh before heading towards Uttar Pradesh. Many rivers are overflowing, roads are closed, and residents in low-lying areas are advised to evacuate. Several districts have announced school closures due to the severe weather warnings.

उत्तराखंड में भारी बारिश, रेड अलर्ट, बाढ़ का खतरा

उत्तराखंड, बिहार, ओडिशा और उत्तर प्रदेश समेत कई राज्यों में भारी बारिश से बाढ़ और भूस्खलन का खतरा बढ़ गया है। बंगाल की खाड़ी में बने गहरे दबाव के कारण ये मौसम परिवर्तन हो रहे हैं। यह सिस्टम उत्तर-पश्चिम की ओर बढ़ रहा है और मध्य प्रदेश के ऊपर कमजोर होकर उत्तर प्रदेश की ओर जाने की उम्मीद है। कई नदियाँ उफान पर हैं, सड़कें बंद हैं और निचले इलाकों के लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर जाने की सलाह दी गई है।
