The Press Club of India has expressed shock and dismay over the Delhi Police's alleged treatment of journalists and internet ban during protests at Jantar Mantar. They stated that journalists must be allowed to work freely without fear, and such restrictions do not bode well for media freedom in India. The Press Club urged the Delhi Police to act on a complaint filed by a female journalist alleging sexual harassment. Police confirmed receiving complaints from three female journalists and have transferred them to the Crime Branch for further action.
