76-Year-Old Former Sarpanch Arrested in 40-Year-Old Land Dispute Case

Police in Hisar have arrested 76-year-old former sarpanch Shiv Lal in connection with a nearly four-decade-old land dispute. The case, registered in 2016, involves allegations of revenue record manipulation and forged documents in the Barwala area. The dispute centers on the alleged illegal change of girdawari for approximately 28 acres of land in 1985. The investigation was revived after a court ruled in favour of the complainant's side earlier this year. Further arrests are possible as the probe continues.

40 साल पुराने ज़मीन विवाद में 76 वर्षीय पूर्व सरपंच गिरफ्तार

हिसार पुलिस ने लगभग चार दशक पुराने ज़मीन विवाद के मामले में 76 वर्षीय पूर्व सरपंच शिव लाल को गिरफ्तार किया है। 2016 में दर्ज इस मामले में बरवाला इलाके में राजस्व रिकॉर्ड में हेरफेर और जाली दस्तावेज़ों के आरोप शामिल हैं। यह विवाद 1985 में लगभग 28 एकड़ ज़मीन की गिरदावरी में कथित अवैध बदलाव से जुड़ा है। इस साल की शुरुआत में अदालत द्वारा शिकायतकर्ता के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाए जाने के बाद जांच को फिर से शुरू किया गया। जांच जारी रहने के कारण आगे भी गिरफ्तारियां हो सकती हैं।
