Indian Railways Cancels Trains to Delhi Stations on Oct 10 Due to Congestion

Indian Railways has ordered the cancellation of all Mail and Express trains scheduled to arrive at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations on October 10. The cancellations apply to trains arriving between 4 am and 2 pm, with trains departing origin stations after 2 pm on Friday also affected. This decision was made due to anticipated severe road traffic congestion surrounding the two stations. Railway officials have not confirmed if the cancellations are linked to ongoing protests against the Chief Election Commissioner.

भारतीय रेलवे ने 10 अक्टूबर को नई दिल्ली और हजरत निजामुद्दीन स्टेशनों पर आने वाली सभी मेल और एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों को रद्द करने का आदेश दिया है। यह रद्दीकरण सुबह 4 बजे से दोपहर 2 बजे के बीच आने वाली ट्रेनों पर लागू होता है, और शुक्रवार को दोपहर 2 बजे के बाद मूल स्टेशनों से निकलने वाली ट्रेनें भी प्रभावित होंगी। यह निर्णय दोनों स्टेशनों के आसपास अपेक्षित गंभीर सड़क यातायात जाम के कारण लिया गया है। रेलवे अधिकारियों ने यह पुष्टि नहीं की है कि यह रद्दीकरण मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के खिलाफ चल रहे विरोध प्रदर्शनों से जुड़ा है या नहीं।
