Terrorist group Boko Haram and its factions have been using artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, and Claude for military activities, according to a Cambridge University study. Former members revealed organized training sessions where operatives learned to bypass AI safety restrictions. AI was used to build explosives, plan attacks, and modify drones for dropping bombs. This marks a significant escalation in the use of advanced technology by militant groups.
