Prayagraj to Upgrade Social Reformers' Statues With ₹12 Crore Plan

Prayagraj district is set to upgrade statues of Dr BR Ambedkar and other social reformers with a ₹12 crore plan under the Dr BR Ambedkar Murti Vikas Yojana. The first phase will select 10 statue sites from each of the district's 12 assembly constituencies. Across Uttar Pradesh, ₹403 crore is earmarked for 4,030 sites statewide, with an average of ₹10 lakh per site, capped at ₹40 lakh. The beautification includes protective roofing, boundary walls, lighting, and information boards. The project aims for completion by December 2026.

प्रयागराज जिला डॉ बी आर अम्बेडकर मूर्ति विकास योजना के तहत ₹12 करोड़ की योजना से डॉ बी आर अम्बेडकर और अन्य समाज सुधारकों की मूर्तियों को अपग्रेड करने के लिए तैयार है। पहले चरण में जिले की 12 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में से प्रत्येक से 10 मूर्ति स्थलों का चयन किया जाएगा। पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश में, 4,030 स्थलों के लिए ₹403 करोड़ का प्रावधान है, जिसमें प्रति स्थल औसतन ₹10 लाख और अधिकतम ₹40 लाख तक का खर्च आएगा। सुंदरीकरण में सुरक्षात्मक छत, सीमा दीवारें, प्रकाश व्यवस्था और सूचना बोर्ड शामिल हैं। इस परियोजना का लक्ष्य दिसंबर 2026 तक पूरा करना है।
