Customs officials at Delhi's IGI Airport have uncovered a major drone smuggling operation. Three Indian passengers arriving from Hong Kong via Vietnam were intercepted with a large cache of professional-grade drones and their parts. The seized items include 8 Autel Robotics MDX-1 drones, 11 remote controllers, and various other accessories, valued at over ₹1.03 crore. Technical analysis revealed these drones possess advanced features like thermal imaging and laser rangefinders, classifying them as military/defense grade UAVs.

दिल्ली के IGI Airport पर कस्टम अधिकारियों ने ड्रोन तस्करी का एक बड़ा मामला पकड़ा है। हांगकांग से वियतनाम के रास्ते आए तीन भारतीय यात्रियों को बड़ी संख्या में प्रोफेशनल ड्रोन और उनके पुर्जों के साथ रोका गया। जब्त किए गए सामान में 8 Autel Robotics MDX-1 ड्रोन, 11 रिमोट कंट्रोलर और कई अन्य एक्सेसरीज़ शामिल हैं, जिनकी कीमत ₹1.03 करोड़ से ज़्यादा है। तकनीकी जांच में पता चला कि इन ड्रोनों में थर्मल इमेजिंग और लेज़र रेंजफाइंडर जैसी एडवांस्ड खूबियाँ हैं, जो इन्हें मिलिट्री/डिफेंस ग्रेड UAV बनाती हैं।
