Wife's Calls Lead Police To Highway Robbery Gang

A highway robbery gang operating in Tamil Nadu was busted after a suspect's wife repeatedly called him, inquiring about his whereabouts and return time. Mobile tower records helped police trace the gang to Madhya Pradesh, leading to the arrest of alleged mastermind Makasud Khan. The gang targeted women passengers carrying gold jewellery at highway dhabas, committing five incidents and stealing 173 sovereigns of gold. Police recovered 388 grams of gold.

तमिलनाडु में हाईवे पर लूटपाट करने वाले गिरोह का पर्दाफाश हुआ है। एक संदिग्ध की पत्नी ने बार-बार फोन करके उसके बारे में पूछा, जिससे पुलिस को सुराग मिला। मोबाइल टावर की लोकेशन से गिरोह का पता मध्य प्रदेश में चला। पुलिस ने मास्टरमाइंड मकसूर खान को गिरफ्तार किया। यह गिरोह हाईवे ढाबों पर सोने के जेवर ले जा रही महिलाओं को निशाना बनाता था। उन्होंने पांच वारदातों में 173 सोने के बिस्किट चुराए थे। पुलिस ने 388 ग्राम सोना बरामद किया है।
