ACP Manasvi Vashisht has been suspended by Delhi Police. This action follows a protest by approximately 150 Delhi Police personnel, including women officers, outside Police Headquarters. The protest stemmed from an incident at Shahdara Police Station where a lawyer sustained a head injury during a confrontation. While lawyers withdrew their strike after assurances, lower-ranked police personnel expressed significant dissatisfaction with the transfers of ACP Vashisht and SHO Inspector Arun Kumar, demanding their reinstatement.
