MPSC Aspirants End 10-Day Stir; Chairman Bhimanwar Goes on Leave

MPSC aspirants in Pune have ended their 10-day protest after the Maharashtra government agreed to form a committee to probe alleged irregularities, including paper leaks. Senior IAS officer Tukaram Mundhe will be part of this inquiry committee. Following this development, MPSC Chairman Vivek Bhimanwar announced he has proceeded on leave until the investigation is completed. The government delegation, led by minister Shivendra Raje Bhosale, assured protesters that most demands, including reforms and background checks, would be addressed. The committee will also include ex-judge Dilip Bhosale as chairman.

पुणे में एमपीएससी उम्मीदवारों ने महाराष्ट्र सरकार द्वारा कथित अनियमितताओं, जिसमें पेपर लीक भी शामिल है, की जांच के लिए एक समिति बनाने पर सहमति के बाद अपना 10-दिवसीय विरोध प्रदर्शन समाप्त कर दिया है। वरिष्ठ IAS अधिकारी तुकाराम मुंडे इस जांच समिति का हिस्सा होंगे। इस घटनाक्रम के बाद, एमपीएससी के चेयरमैन विवेक भीमांवर ने घोषणा की कि वे जांच पूरी होने तक छुट्टी पर चले गए हैं। मंत्री शिवेंद्र राजे भोसले के नेतृत्व वाले सरकारी प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने प्रदर्शनकारियों को आश्वासन दिया कि सुधारों और पृष्ठभूमि की जांच सहित अधिकांश मांगों को पूरा किया जाएगा। समिति में पूर्व न्यायाधीश दिलीप भोसले अध्यक्ष के रूप में शामिल होंगे।
