Pentagon Adds ChatGPT, Grok to Military AI Platform

The Pentagon's GenAI.mil platform is expanding to include military versions of ChatGPT and Grok, offering specialized AI tools to its 1.7 million users. These systems will handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) at Impact Level 5, a designation for sensitive but unclassified data. This move aims to enhance efficiency in tasks like human resources and logistics, freeing up personnel for critical missions.
