A 68-year-old Florida woman, Marilyn Elise Therrell, has been arrested for allegedly attempting to kill her two adult sons by giving them an overdose of medication. The incident occurred in Kissimmee on September 8. Therrell reportedly told detectives that caring for her sons, who have severe autism, became too difficult after her husband's death last year. The sons, aged 32 and 30, are expected to recover and will be placed in state care.
