IndiGo, Akasa Air Extend Saudi Flight Suspensions Amid Security Concerns

Indian airlines IndiGo and Akasa Air have extended flight suspensions to Saudi Arabia due to security concerns following recent attacks. IndiGo flights to Riyadh are cancelled until October 31, while services to Jeddah, Dammam, and Madinah are suspended until October 27. Akasa Air has extended its suspensions to Jeddah and Riyadh into November. Air India and Air India Express have also suspended flights on key Saudi routes through October 24. These disruptions are affecting passengers and Indian Umrah pilgrims, with the Ministry of External Affairs coordinating efforts to assist them.
