Muslim Cleric Questions Plan For Babri Masjid In Bengal

Maulana Sajid Rashidi has questioned the proposal to build a Babri Masjid in West Bengal, asking why it is needed when land has already been allocated in Ayodhya. He suggested that the construction should proceed on the land provided by the government in Ayodhya following a court order. Rashidi offered to accompany Humayun Kabir to Ayodhya and participate in laying the foundation stone for the mosque. He emphasized that disputes should not be escalated and that the designated land should be utilized.

मौलाना साजिद रशीदी ने पश्चिम बंगाल में बाबरी मस्जिद बनाने के प्रस्ताव पर सवाल उठाए हैं। उन्होंने पूछा कि जब अयोध्या में ज़मीन पहले ही आवंटित हो चुकी है तो इसकी क्या ज़रूरत है। उन्होंने सुझाव दिया कि अदालत के आदेश के बाद सरकार द्वारा अयोध्या में दी गई ज़मीन पर ही निर्माण होना चाहिए। रशीदी ने हुमायूं कबीर के साथ अयोध्या जाने और मस्जिद की नींव रखने में भाग लेने की पेशकश की। उन्होंने इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया कि विवादों को नहीं बढ़ाया जाना चाहिए और आवंटित ज़मीन का इस्तेमाल किया जाना चाहिए।
