Veteran actor Nana Patekar, 75, passed away on Thursday morning following a severe cardiac arrest at his Goa residence. His family, including his wife and son, arrived at Goa Medical College and Hospital for his post-mortem examination. A three-member medical team has been appointed to conduct the procedure. Patekar's death has led to widespread grief across the film and political spheres in Maharashtra and Goa. His mortal remains are scheduled to be taken to Pune for final rites later today.
