The committee, which included members from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Alappuzha districts, was allegedly disbanded without notice over allegations of ghee misappropriation related to Sabarimala. A Division Bench quashed the Registrar's order and a previous Single Bench decision, finding the dissolution lacked sufficient rationale and proper consultation. The court directed the reinstated committee to replace the appointed administrator.

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने मिल्मा तिरुवनंतपुरम रीजनल को-ऑपरेटिव मिल्क प्रोड्यूसर्स यूनियन की भंग की गई प्रबंध समिति को फिर से बहाल कर दिया है, जिससे राज्य सरकार को झटका लगा है। यह समिति, जिसमें तिरुवनंतपुरम, कोल्लम, पत्तनमतिट्टा और अलप्पुझा जिलों के सदस्य शामिल थे, कथित तौर पर सबरीमाला से संबंधित घी की हेराफेरी के आरोपों को लेकर बिना नोटिस के भंग कर दी गई थी। एक डिवीजन बेंच ने रजिस्ट्रार के आदेश और एक पिछली सिंगल बेंच के फैसले को रद्द कर दिया, यह पाते हुए कि विघटन में पर्याप्त औचित्य और उचित परामर्श का अभाव था। अदालत ने नियुक्त प्रशासक को बदलने के लिए बहाल समिति को निर्देश दिया।
