Allahabad HC Grants Bail To Vikas Dubey's Driver In Bikru Case

The Allahabad High Court has granted bail to Ram Singh, the driver of late gangster Vikas Dubey, in connection with the Bikru massacre case. Justice Krishana Pahal approved the bail, noting that other co-accused in similar situations have already been released. The court emphasized that an accused cannot be held indefinitely solely due to their criminal history if a case for bail is established. Singh was accused of murder and attempted murder in the case where eight police personnel were killed during a raid in 2020.

विकास दुबे के ड्राइवर राम सिंह को बिकरू कांड में इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट से जमानत मिली

इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने गैंगस्टर विकास दुबे के ड्राइवर राम सिंह को बिकरू नरसंहार मामले में जमानत दे दी है। जस्टिस कृष्ण पहल ने यह जमानत मंजूर की और कहा कि ऐसे ही मामलों में अन्य सह-आरोपियों को पहले ही रिहा किया जा चुका है। कोर्ट ने जोर देकर कहा कि अगर जमानत का मामला बनता है तो किसी आरोपी को सिर्फ उसके आपराधिक इतिहास के आधार पर अनिश्चित काल तक नहीं रोका जा सकता। सिंह पर उस मामले में हत्या और हत्या के प्रयास का आरोप था, जिसमें 2020 में एक छापेमारी के दौरान आठ पुलिसकर्मियों की मौत हो गई थी।
