Pragyan Ojha Appointed BCCI Selection Committee Chairman, Ramesh Powar Joins Panel

Pragyan Ojha has been appointed as the new chairman of the BCCI's Men's Selection Committee, succeeding Ajit Agarkar. Former India spinner Ramesh Powar has also joined the five-member panel as a new member. The Cricket Advisory Committee conducted interviews before recommending Powar's appointment. Ojha, who has played 24 Test matches, will chair the committee based on seniority. Agarkar's tenure concluded after overseeing significant ICC triumphs for Indian cricket, including multiple T20 World Cups and Champions Trophy wins.

प्रज्ञान ओझा को बीसीसीआई की पुरुष चयन समिति का नया अध्यक्ष बनाया गया है, उन्होंने अजित अगरकर की जगह ली है। पूर्व भारतीय स्पिनर रमेश पवार भी पांच सदस्यीय पैनल में नए सदस्य के तौर पर शामिल हुए हैं। क्रिकेट सलाहकार समिति ने पवार की नियुक्ति की सिफारिश करने से पहले इंटरव्यू लिए थे। 24 टेस्ट मैच खेल चुके ओझा वरिष्ठता के आधार पर समिति की अध्यक्षता करेंगे। अगरकर का कार्यकाल भारतीय क्रिकेट की कई बड़ी आईसीसी जीतों, जिनमें कई टी20 वर्ल्ड कप और चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी जीत शामिल हैं, की देखरेख के बाद समाप्त हुआ।
