Inflammatory Markers Predict Stroke Recurrence Risk

A large prospective cohort study has revealed that composite inflammatory markers strongly predict stroke prognosis. The systemic inflammatory response index (SIRI) has emerged as the most reliable marker. It helps identify patients at high risk of stroke recurrence.
