Tushar Gandhi Disappointed With Keralam Govt

Tushar Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi's great-grandson, expressed disappointment with the Keralam government for not challenging the union government's decision to ban 31 films at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival. Gandhi stated the state government has weakened its freedom by not showing the same courage as a previous Keralam government that screened similar films. He urged Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala to show courage and screen the films, appealing to the Congress party to organize screenings across Keralam.

तुषार गांधी, महात्मा गांधी के परपोते, केरल सरकार से निराश हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार ने केंद्र के 31 फिल्मों पर प्रतिबंध के फैसले को चुनौती नहीं देकर अपनी स्वतंत्रता को कमजोर किया है। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री वी.डी. सतीसन और गृह मंत्री रमेश चेन्निथला से इन फिल्मों को दिखाने का साहस दिखाने की अपील की। साथ ही, कांग्रेस पार्टी से केरल भर में इन फिल्मों की स्क्रीनिंग आयोजित करने का आग्रह किया।
