During the festive season, the excise department in Odisha has intensified its enforcement drive, seizing illicit liquor, narcotics, and other contraband valued at Rs 5.1 crore. The special campaign, running to, aims to curb illegal activities related to liquor and drugs. Between and 14 alone, officials registered 958 cases, including 25 under the NDPS Act, leading to the arrest of 470 individuals.
