Assam Police To Recruit 20,000, Promote 5,000

Assam Police is set to recruit between 15,000 and 20,000 new personnel, with an additional 5,000 promotions expected. Chief Minister Himanta Sarma announced the expansion, highlighting a significant increase in the force's conviction rate. The rate has risen from approximately 8 per cent in 2020 to the current 29.30 per cent.

असम पुलिस 15,000 से 20,000 नए जवानों की भर्ती करने वाली है। साथ ही, 5,000 प्रमोशन भी होंगे। मुख्यमंत्री हिमंता बिस्वा सरमा ने यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस की सजा दर में काफी सुधार हुआ है। 2020 में यह दर करीब 8% थी, जो अब बढ़कर 29.30% हो गई है।
