India's Ministry of External Affairs has blamed China for failing to maintain peace and tranquility along the border, stating that Chinese forces diverging from established patrolling patterns disturb the border areas. This statement follows remarks by the ITBP chief about a new commando unit demonstrating capabilities during face-offs with the PLA in Arunachal Pradesh. The MEA emphasized that maintaining peace is crucial for overall bilateral relations and that both sides are using diplomatic and military channels to resolve issues and avoid miscalculations along the Line of Actual Control.
