Despite their high visibility, premium motorcycles above 350cc constitute only 1.4% of India's two-wheeler market. In the 2025-26 fiscal year, over 2 crore two-wheelers were sold, with 98.6% of motorcycles being under 350cc. Hero MotoCorp leads the sub-350cc segment, while Royal Enfield and Bajaj Auto dominate the niche big-bike market. Favourable tax treatment for bikes under 350cc contributes to their popularity, making practicality and affordability key drivers in India's two-wheeler sales.

भारत में 350cc से ऊपर की प्रीमियम बाइक्स की बिक्री भले ही ज्यादा दिखती हो, लेकिन ये कुल टू-व्हीलर मार्केट का सिर्फ 1.4% हैं। 2025-26 में 2 करोड़ से ज्यादा टू-व्हीलर बिके, जिनमें 98.6% 350cc से कम थे। Hero MotoCorp छोटी बाइक्स में आगे है, जबकि Royal Enfield और Bajaj Auto बड़ी बाइक्स का बाजार संभालती हैं। 350cc से कम की बाइक्स पर टैक्स छूट भी इन्हें पॉपुलर बनाती है, क्योंकि भारत में लोग किफायती और प्रैक्टिकल गाड़ियां पसंद करते हैं।
