Pragyan Ojha Replaces Ajit Agarkar As Chief Selector

Former cricketer Pragyan Ojha has been appointed as the interim chief selector for the Indian cricket team, taking over from Ajit Agarkar. Ojha will oversee selections, including for the upcoming tour of New Zealand, until a permanent replacement for Agarkar is found. Agarkar's tenure, which saw India win the 2024 T20 World Cup and other major tournaments, concludes. Ojha, who played 24 Tests and 18 ODIs for India, led a selectors' meeting in Guwahati to discuss team composition.
