A Thane resident allegedly broke into a flat seized by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that was linked to Dawood Ibrahim's brother, Iqbal Kaskar. Haresh Kamble, the accused, claimed ownership and used a key maker to break the lock, removing the ED's possession notice. The ED has filed an FIR against Kamble for house trespass and disobedience of lawful orders. The flat, valued at ₹55 lakh, was provisionally attached in April 2022 as part of an extortion case investigation. The agency has since re-secured possession of the property.
