US businessman Adam Castillo has been deported from Myanmar after spending three months in jail. State-run MRTV reported Castillo was flown out of Naypyitaw on Wednesday, citing friendly relations between the US and Myanmar. He faced breach of trust charges related to AmCham Myanmar regulations, though it's unclear if he was tried or charges dropped. Castillo, former president of AmCham Myanmar, was detained in June. His supporters claim the charges were fabricated.
