Mysuru Royal Navaratri Ends With Traditional Vijayadashami Procession

The Mysuru royal family's Navaratri celebrations concluded with religious rituals and a Vijayadashami procession on the palace premises. Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Mysuru MP and scion of the erstwhile royal family, participated in the ceremonies, upholding centuries-old Wadiyar dynasty traditions. He performed puja to the royal sword, which was then carried in a procession to the Bhuvaneshwari Temple. The festivities also included a procession with royal elephants, horses, and cows. However, the traditional wrestling event, 'Vajramushti Kalaga', could not be conducted this year.
