CJP Leaders' Bail Hearing Delayed; SEM Threatened, FIR Filed

Delhi Police has registered an FIR against unknown individuals for allegedly threatening a Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) during the bail proceedings of CJP leaders Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das. The controversy arose after CJP accused authorities of delaying the leaders' release, with four bail bondsmen reportedly rejected for unclear reasons. CJP legal chief Ratna Singh stated the SEM arrived late and mentioned receiving a threat, questioning its relevance to the leaders' bail. Ranka and Das are currently in judicial custody in Tihar Jail.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने सीजेपी नेताओं आशुतोष रांका और सौरभ दास की जमानत कार्यवाही के दौरान एक स्पेशल एग्जीक्यूटिव मजिस्ट्रेट (एसईएम) को कथित तौर पर धमकी देने के आरोप में अज्ञात व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज की है। यह विवाद तब सामने आया जब सीजेपी ने अधिकारियों पर नेताओं की रिहाई में देरी करने का आरोप लगाया, जिसमें चार जमानतदारों को अस्पष्ट कारणों से अस्वीकार कर दिया गया। सीजेपी की कानूनी प्रमुख रत्ना सिंह ने कहा कि एसईएम देर से पहुंचे और उन्होंने धमकी मिलने का जिक्र किया, जिससे नेताओं की जमानत से इसके संबंध पर सवाल उठाए गए। रांका और दास वर्तमान में तिहाड़ जेल में न्यायिक हिरासत में हैं।
