डीआरआई ने चीनी नागरिकों द्वारा चलाए जा रहे सोने की तस्करी के एक गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ किया है। एजेंसी ने ट्रेडमिल मोटर के अंदर छिपाकर रखा ₹1.10 करोड़ का सोना बरामद किया है। डीआरआई द्वारा पता लगाया गया यह पहला मामला है जब सोने को ट्रेडमिल के अंदर छिपाया गया था। यह कार्रवाई तस्करी गिरोहों द्वारा कस्टम अधिकारियों की पकड़ से बचने के लिए अपनाए जा रहे नए तरीकों को दर्शाती है।
