Punjab CM's OSD Appears Before CBI in Cash-for-Favors Probe

Rajbir Ghuman, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, appeared before the CBI for questioning in a 'cash for favours' case linked to the Chief Minister's Office. Ghuman stated he was asked 40 questions and has been summoned again on Monday, expressing faith in a fair investigation. He claimed the case is political propaganda aimed at defaming CM Mann, whose popularity he believes is growing. Ghuman had previously skipped summonses but appeared after the Supreme Court granted him interim protection from coercive action.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान के ऑफिसर ऑन स्पेशल ड्यूटी (ओएसडी) राजबीर घुमन, मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय से जुड़े 'रिश्वत लेकर काम देने' के मामले में पूछताछ के लिए सीबीआई के सामने पेश हुए। घुमन ने कहा कि उनसे 40 सवाल पूछे गए और उन्हें सोमवार को फिर से बुलाया गया है, उन्होंने निष्पक्ष जांच में विश्वास जताया। उन्होंने दावा किया कि यह मामला सीएम मान को बदनाम करने के लिए राजनीतिक दुष्प्रचार है, जिनकी लोकप्रियता बढ़ रही है। घुमन ने पहले समन को नजरअंदाज किया था लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट से गिरफ्तारी से मिली अंतरिम राहत के बाद पेश हुए।
